Pecjak appointed to water board

The Holley-Navarre Water System board of directors has appointed Holley resident Joe Pecjak to the board.
Pecjak will replace Mark Goode who was terminated from the board in June for alleged inappropriate behavior and intimidating water system employees.
According to Ken Walker, general manager for the water system, the board of directors’ bylaws allows the board to appoint a board member to serve until an election can be held in January. Board members are elected by water system customers.
