Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of credit card fraud and car theft.
The case began on May 23, after Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Pizza Hut at 8692 Navarre Parkway in reference to a stolen car complaint.
A car was stolen from that parking lot and inside the car, was a credit card belonging to the victim.
According to a press release issued by the sheriff’s office, that credit card was used within five minutes of the car being stolen. It was used by a white female suspect at the Navarre Beach Tom Thumb.
The car was later found abandoned on the west end of Navarre Beach.
So far, investigators have yet been able to identify the woman seen on the Tom Thumb security tape.
