Commissioners voted to reduce the annual rates for the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier during their meeting July 14.The rates for the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier annual passes have been reduced.

During their July 14 meeting, the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners voted to approve lowering the annual rates in accordance with recommendations made discussions during several recentmeetings.

The new rates are $150 for adult annual passes, $100 for seniors, $75 for youths and $300 for an annual family pass.

Commissioners Jim Williamson and Jim Melvin both thought the recommendation for lowering the rates should go through as suggested.
