Don Shepherd, senior forecaster with the National Weather Service in Mobile, Ala. said there had been anywhere from three to four inches of rain across the southern half of Santa Rosa County and some areas, such as Garcon Point had received around eight inches during the last week. He also said there were probably small areas that may have received more rain than that.
