There will be two openings on the Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Council for the upcoming year, which starts Oct. 1.
The terms of the two seats currently held by Ed Taylor, district manager of Gulf Power in Fort Walton Beach; and Jack Sanborn, owner of Adventures Unlimited in Milton, are due to expire Sept. 30.
This is the first time that TDC board vacancies have been advertised since the issue of not advertising for the positions was first raised in October 2009.
Then, Dorothy Slye, Katie Curle and Vernon Compton were re-nominated for the seats they currently held as the terms were set to expire.
