Santa Rosa County schools measuring up

Report cards on Santa Rosa County Schools are out and the school system is on the honor roll.

The Santa Rosa County school district announced in a press release June 30 that all Santa Rosa schools are graded as an “A” or “B,” which is a significant accomplishment. High school grades take a little longer to process and should come out mid-summer.

Tim Wyrosdick, superintendent of schools lauded the schools for this achievement.

“On behalf of the school board, I would like to extend congratulations to all schools for their performance. Parents, teachers, support staff, administrators and community partners continually invest in our school system by investing in students,” said Wyrosdick in the release. “This accomplishment is a representation of their passion and demand for a high quality educational system.”
