Library ‘Friends’ demand Hendrix’s termination

The Friends of the Navarre Library have issued an official letter to the Santa Rosa County commissioners, demanding Linda Hendrix be terminated.

Hendrix, the county’s library director, ordered the “act of vandalism perpetrated on the Navarre Library,” the Friends’ letter stated.

“The Friends of the Navarre Library Board…demand the immediate termination of the Santa Rosa County Library Director, Linda Hendrix and the prohibition of her ability to hold any other library position,” the letter continued.

Navarre  Library patrons were greeted with an ugly sight as they  pulled into the library parking lot June 17. Most of the vegetation surrounding the building had been dug up, chopped down and the clippings were dragged to the rear of the building and dumped.
