The Navarre Town Center Plan will be modified and it is up to the public to decide those changes.
The Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners voted to have staff begin scheduling public input hearings for modification requests to the Plan during their June 23 meeting.
Chairman Lane Lynchard said the hearings typically start with the zoning board meetings so ideas can be fleshed out then come to the commission for further discussion because the zoning board makes recommendations to the commissioners.
He also said some of the concerns they have heard deal with architectural standards and the possible hindrance those have on development.
