Helipad gets OK from Santa Rosa county

Navarre Water Sports got the approval to offer helicopter rides in Navarre.
The business, located on U.S. Highway 98, had applied for a conditional use for commercial outdoor amusement activities under the existing usage codes.
Charles Duplantis, an owner of Navarre Water Sports, said he is ready to go.
“I’m totally excited about it,” said Duplantis. “I think we are going to try and finish the helipad and fencing (June 20) and hopefully the helicopter will be here tonight. It all depends on the weather.”
