NBVFD board settles with labor board

A settlement agreement was reached between the firefighters of the Navarre Beach Volunteer Fire Department and the department’s board of directors after the firefighters filed complaint papers with the National Labor Relations Board on Dec. 20, 2010.
Shaun Hall, president of the International Association of Firefighters local Union No. 4494, said they filed complaints with the labor board because it seemed that once the firefighters turned in contracts, unfavorable actions kept occuring.
