Landry named EMS director of the year

he Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners issued a proclamation declaring May 15 – 21 Emergency Medical Services Week.Dr. Kim Landry, medical director for Lifeguard Ambulance Services, was named Emergency Medical Services Director of the Year by the Florida Department of Emergency Medical Services April 21.

Landry said the honor was unexpected.

“There were certainly a lot of qualified candidates in this field. I’m quite humbled and excited,” said Landry.
Landry oversees a number of Lifeguard agencies, including the services offered in Santa Rosa County. He said the company has regional directors as well, but ultimately he is responsible for the patient care.
