Interim Jones approved as the Santa Rosa County attorney

After several months of serving as the interim attorney for Santa Rosa County, Angie Jones’ position was officially approved during the April 14 meeting of the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners.

As county attorney, Jones will continue to provide legal counsel to the commissioners, the county administration and departments and to various boards and committees.

Jones began practicing law in 1996.  She said when former county attorney Tom Dannheisser vacated the position after 24 years to become a judge, she thought it might be time for a new challenge.
