Every school in Santa Rosa County, with the exceptions of Jay High School and Hobbs Middle School, saw improved scores on the writing portion of the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test.
The scores for students in fourth, eighth and 10th grades, who took the tests, were released May 4 to the excitement of students, parents and educators, such as West Navarre Intermediate School principal Anna Ratliff.
“We’re delighted. We had 11 scores of 6, the highest score you can get. That’s more than we’ve ever had before,” Ratliff said.
