HNWS awarded $750,000 for sewer projects

Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners announced at its May 9 meeting that the county was awarded a Small Cities Community Development Block Grant through the Florida Department of Community Affairs to be used on a Holley-Navarre wastewater project.
The grant was applied for in November of 2010, according to Shelia Harris, grants coordinator for the county. The board of county commissioners received notice of the award in April.
