Santa Rosa company, with 500+ employees, to terminate lease

Clearwire, a Milton-based company that provides mobile broadband service and employs more than 500 people in Santa Rosa County, has sent a letter to their landlord to terminate the lease on the building where the employees currently work.

Currently Clearwire is in a five-year lease agreement with Terhaar & Cronley Property Co., which owns both the 5520Industrial Blvd., building Clearwire currently occupies and the 5510 building they were planning on expanding into. Last fall, Clearwire announced plans to hire an additional 425 employees.
