Beginning next month, resurfacing and construction will begin on U.S. Highway 98 for the five mile stretch between Josie Road and the Santa Rosa County line.
Panhandle Grading and Paving of Pensacola has the contract which began March 7 and project should be complete near the end of the year.
The project work will begin with drainage during the day. No lane closures will be allowed between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8 p.m.
