Dan Ramsey’s problems with the Holley by the Sea Homeowner’s Association started a year ago when he wanted to comply with the covenants and provide a place for his boat alongside his home on Candlewood Street in Holley by the Sea.
Ramsey said he followed the proper procedure to build the enclosure and HBTS approved it.
“Then they came back and decided they didn’t like my boat enclosure. I was told it had to be behind a six-foot privacy fence. The board automatically suspended us from the use of the recreational facility. …They want me to comply with the covenants regarding six-foot boat enclosures and there isn’t one,” said Ramsey.
