Officials planned a final  “walkthrough”  today at Navarre Beach State Park before control of the property reverts to Santa Rosa County.

County Commissioner Gordon Goodin said the inspection is only a formality.

“Several months ago, the state formally sent us notice that they wanted out of the lease,”  Goodin said.  “We don’t have any choice; we’re getting it back.”
