County to improve Navarre dog park

The Santa Rosa County Commission is expected to approve spending about $26,000 to upgrade the dog park on High School Boulevard in Navarre.
Commissioner Jim Melvin met with residents concerned that the existing park is insufficient, especially for larger dogs. He agreed, and asked the commission to authorize funds from his recreation account to pay for improvements.
