Putnam says seafood is safe and abundant

Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services Adam Putnam has been visiting local seafood industry constituents in reference to the $20 million settlement from BP.
Putnam’s predecessor, Former Commissioner Charles Bronson, began the negotiations for the money in order to increase confidence in the safety of Florida’s seafood industry. The settlement was announced in November.
