Holley-Navarre fire board reviews policies

Some Holley-Navarre Fire District policies are repetitive, some encroach on the fire chief’s duties and some conflict with state law, the department’s attorney said Monday.
“When I read this set of policies the first time...it looked like you were trying to set out your separation of powers,” Toni Craig said at a Board of Fire Commissioners workshop Monday at the fire station behind Winn-Dixie.
