Dreams realized through Egypt’s revolt

More than 50 people showed up on Feb. 5 in downtown Pensacola for the rally Heba El Goweni and Abeer Abutaleb organized to ask the U.S. government to stop supporting Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
After almost three weeks of protest, a local pediatrician and Egyptian American has seen a dream come true with the resignation of former President Hosni Mubarak on Feb. 11, ending his almost 30 year reign in Egypt.
Now, the military has taken over and says it will rule for about six months or until elections can be held; they also suspended the constitution and dissolved parliament, according to CNN.
