Councilor chides Gaetz for bashing Democrats

Bashing Democrats may be a good campaign strategy, but a Pensacola city councilor told state Rep. Matt Gaetz last week that it’s no way to get things done.
During comments at a joint legislative luncheon, sponsored by the Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Bay area chambers of commerce Feb. 3 at the Pensacola Civic Center, Gaetz spoke derisively about unnamed Democrats who want to resolve the state’s budget crisis by raising taxes.
