Santa Rosa County officials wanted to know how they did in disseminating information about the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and according to a recent survey, results are positive.
In April of 2010, Santa Rosa County officials, along with counties all along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, were met with an unparalleled crisis on their hands. According to Joy Tsubooka, public information officer with Santa Rosa County, the influx of information about the Deepwater Horizon oil spill was overwhelming, but county officials wanted to get that information to residents and guests alike.
