Firefighting in Navarre may have become a bit safer, thanks to a few stickers.
Dubbed "truss-type construction placards," the large, red, firefighting-symbol stickers display either an 'F,' 'R,' or 'FR' to alert firefighters arriving on scene whether the building was constructed with light-frame trusses in the roof and/or floor.
A truss is a structure consisting of one or more straight triangular units, which are joined together to form a structure.
