No one was injured following a two-car collision on East Bay Boulevard Monday.
Shortly before 1 p.m., Jerry King, 75, of Gulf Breeze, was driving eastbound on East Bay Boulevard when he "heard a loud explosion," according to a press release issued by the Florida Highway Patrol.
King told the FHP that he lost control of the vehicle as it veered across the yellow line, striking a Ford Taurus driven by Hubert Barrett, 76, of Navarre, head-on.
Upon arrival, FHP noted that the front left tire and assembly of King's Toyota Tundra was completely removed.
King, Barrett and his passenger, Joyce Barrett, 73, also of Navarre, were all treated and released for minor injuries from Baptist Memorial Hospital.
No charges were filed against either driver. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
