Flushing septic tank law among legislative priorities

During the local legislative delegation’s annual meeting with constituents in Milton last month, Florida Rep. Clay Ford thanked the Santa Rosa County Commission for leaving funding off its 2011 legislative wish list.

“I especially appreciate your not bringing any money issues to us,“ Ford said on Dec. 16.  “(House and Senate) leadership’s already told us there’s no money there for local projects. I appreciate the fact that everybody recognizes that.” Ford added state budget experts project the state’s revenue to be at least $3.5 billion less than it was a year ago.
