Suspect arrested in string of burglaries

Following a two-month investigation, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Lyle Dean Roland in connection with a series of burglaries at businesses along U.S. 98.

On Sept.19, 2010, the sheriff’s office received a burglary complaint from T. C.’s Front Porch of U.S. 98 in Navarre. According to the sheriff’s office, investigators discovered that an exterior camera had captured images of  “a suspect grabbing the camera and tilting it up.” In doing so, they observed a unicorn tattoo on the suspect’s right forearm.
