Up and down the Emerald Coast, dedicated volunteers worked through the morning last Saturday, clearing debris, trash and other items washed up on the beach.  

The rubbish removal was part of the International Coast Cleanup, which takes place on the third Saturday in September every year across the world. It’s sponsored by Ocean Conservancy, a non-profit organization that promotes healthy and diverse ecosystems.
