Young Min Chun had lived in the United States for eight years and never took advantage of the country’s highest honor: citizenship.
The Navarre resident sat idly as President George W. Bush was elected into office twice, watched the World Trade Center collapse and witnessed the military invade Afghanistan. Through all of it, Chun felt hopeless.
Now, as one of America’s newest citizens, the first thing Chun can’t wait to do is exercise his First Amendment right.
