Gulf Breeze man charged in fatal accident

ArmstrongA Gulf Breeze man has been charged with vehicular manslaughter following the hit-and-run death of a cyclist last week.

According to a report released by the Florida Highway Patrol, Peter Felix Armstrong, 28, was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 98 late Friday night when he drifted onto the shoulder of the road where 58-year-old Paul Shirley was riding his bicycle.
