Navarre group proves they care – and share

Students from the Navarre High School Student Government Association helped to collect and sort food for this year’s drive.Overcooking a turkey isn’t everyone’s concern on Thanksgiving Day.

In fact, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 14 percent of households in Florida may not even have a turkey to cook this Thanksgiving.

That’s where Caring and Sharing comes in.

What started as one woman’s desire to provide toys for needy kids during the Christmas holiday has evolved into a mainstream mission where hundreds of needy individuals and families get a “hand up” during the holiday seasons.
