New beach ownership resolution stresses public uses

Santa Rosa County hopes to address issues lingering from its past by tying Navarre Beach’s future to its present.

“Almost all of (the undeveloped property on Navarre Beach) is either in wetlands or it is the only place out there where you can see natural dune habitats,” said Carolyn Kolb of Navarre. “We can never be Destin; we ought to make the most of what we can be.“
