Navarre man eludes police, jumps in water

A Navarre man was arrested in the early morning hours of Oct. 22, after a whirlwind episode that left one deputy injured and two K-9 teams searching for the man’s lost pants.
The incident began when a deputy approached a suspicious vehicle parked in Navarre Park around 4:20 a.m. last Friday.
According to a report issued by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was running with nobody in the driver’s seat.
