What should have been a routine traffic stop ended with two police officers and a search and rescue dog fighting for their lives.
In the early morning hours of Sept. 25, a Gulf Breeze Police Officer observed 21-year-old Kyle Michael Estes, of Navarre, driving at a “high rate of speed” across the Pensacola Bay Bridge, according to a report issued by the Gulf Breeze Police Department.
When Estes wouldn’t pull over, the officer in pursuit, Greg Baker, reportedly radioed for backup.
