Primary elections Tuesday, residents urged to vote

Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. across Florida on Aug. 24 for party primary elections.

Early voting continues from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through Saturday, Aug. 21, at the South Santa Rosa Service Center at 5841 Gulf Breeze Parkway, about a block east of the zoo, and at the Elections Office at 6495 Caroline St. in Milton (behind McDonalds on U.S. Highway 90). The deadline to request absentee ballots is 5 p.m. today. Absentee ballots must be received no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day. To request an absentee ballot or for more information, residents should call 983-1900 or go to the Elections Office website at http://204.90.20.174/elections/.
