A Navarre man died Sunday night, succumbing to injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident near U.S. Highway 98 earlier that evening.

According to a report issued by the Florida Highway Patrol, Jeremy Douglas Lock, 28, was transported via Life Flight to Baptist Hospital in Gulf Breeze after the 2001 Chevy sedan he was driving hit a pole.
His passenger, Rico D. Christian, 19, sustained only minor injuries.
