Grant resigns from YMCA post

Bob Grant, the longtime director of the Pullum Family YMCA in Navarre, tendered his resignation Monday after 11 years on the job.

Grant, who has been with the organization since it started in makeshift temporary facility, said "it's time to move on."

"I've been part of this since we were borrowing facilities for programs, since we were conducting swimming lessons in backyard pools," he said.  "Now, I'm on to a new chapter in my life."
