Wife charged with shooting husband

Authorities are still trying to understand what caused an early morning 9-1-1 call Aug. 5 to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. The dispatcher told police the woman calling said someone shot her husband and didn’t know who when asked.

That woman, Misty Salvucci, 31, co-owner of Guglielmo’s Italian Grille in Navarre, was later arrested on charges of aggravated battery and domestic violence for shooting her husband, Pete Salvucci in the back.
