Navarre, FL–In October of 2008, Sheila Langman, 38, was arrested for doing the nasty with a 15-year-old boy. Through interviews with Langman and the teen, investigators determined that the two had been sexually involved on multiple occasions between July and September 2008. Langman, a wife and mother, was jailed and charged with lewd or lascivious battery. Her husband posted her $50,000 bond, and she was released on two conditions…
She was not to have any unsupervised contact with minors and she was to be monitored by a GPS device. A perimeter was set up around the boy’s home and deemed an ‘exclusionary zone’ that she was forbidden to enter. I am quite sure that the judge explained to her, in plain English, what that meant. Maybe something like this, ‘Look lady, if you go anywhere near that child’s home, an alarm will sound, you will be caught, and you will be arrested. Capiche?’ It really doesn’t get any clearer than that. Friday night, at about 7:40 p.m., the alarm went off. Deputies tracked her down and pulled her over about a mile away from her own home. Guess who was in the car with her? Sheila Langman was arrested…again. This time, she is being held without bond and faces charges of violation of release conditions, interfering with child custody, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The felony lewd or lascivious battery case from 2008 is still open. Langman pleaded not guilty in November. Judging by some of the comments in an older news article, Langman ‘took the child in’ at some point and had him living in her home. How convenient is that? UnamusedCat has this one posted in our forums as well. Thanks UC! ________________ [Link removed] |
