This is an excellent documentary highlighting some of the many problems in our school system which need to be acknowledged, addressed, and ultimately amended. In particular, it discusses how closely our schools resemble prisons, complete with surveillance cameras, drug sniffing dogs, metal detectors, cavity searches, and police officers who sometimes force students to the ground at gun point in pursue of contraband. Obviously, this doesn't make for the best learning environment, and ultimately destroys both our freedom and our civil liberties, all the while funneling money into this new Police State. In addition, it discusses the over-drugging of our children with psychiatric drugs, which is nothing short of a shame. As with many of the documentary links I post, eventually it will be removed, so watch it while you can, or put it on your Netflix! (Once you click the link, you have to click the "play" arrow on the right, and also close a "pop up advertisement", but other than that, it is currently a valid link).
