Yeah!!! The New Year is finally here and hopefully it will be a good one for all. The month of December was to busy and hope to rest up some. I'm starting the job search all over with a positive mind and look forward to finishing my Herceptin.

It is hard to imagine the year is almost over. Besides the economy, my family has made it through a really challenging time. I thank God everyday for our good fortune. Thanksgiving was very enjoyable. Plenty of good conversations and food. I decided not to join in on the Black Friday activities. Now it is just a matter of a few weeks until Santa comes to visit.

My doctors appointment went very well. Blood work was good. I will go back in six weeks to see my oncologist. I have an Echocardiogram scheduled for Thursday Nov. 24th, followed by a mammogram on Monday. Thanksgiving has a very personal meaning for my family and I this year. We are so Blessed and Thankful.

I love the fall season. Crisp mornings and mild days. Some leaves changing colors and the wonderful aroma of baking for the holidays. My middle son celebrates his fifteenth birthday and we are on the home stretch for soccer games. I'm still floating on a cloud with last weeks good news and feel my Christmas present was delivered early.
