Surviving Step by Step: Going about business

Sometimes my scalp is tender. Maybe that is a sign. I do tire more easily. When I did my big grocery list the other day, all I could think about was bringing the bags into the house. I put all the cold stuff away and the rest stayed on the counter for awhile. Little at a time I put it away.Not my usual style. But it did get done.

I  don't let the cancer control my life (other than the hair issue). I'm in control. I plan to do something fun with the children this weekend. My older son has a friend coming to stay  the weekend for their spring break. So he will not participate in the family fun times. They will hang out together. I like to go for a ride or take them to Fast Eddie's. My youngest has coupons he earned for "A" honor roll. He also earned  rewards from Taco Bell, Sonic and Ruby Tuesdays. I am very proud of him and he thinks we are eating out all weekend. He is so excited and this makes me smile to see all his excitement. So it's the little things in life that also make everything worth living for. And I do want to live and enjoy all life's wonders with my family. I feel it will work out well. I hope y'all have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine. My faith will keep me strong and my family will make me smile. Life is good.
