Plans are underway for the 2009 Christmas in the Park, sponsored by the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be held from 3 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. Festivities will include free bakery goods from Mrs. Claus’ Bakery, hot cocoa and cider, “The Grinch,” bicycles and toys and the community parade.

Entry deadline for those wishing to participate in the parade is Nov. 27.  For more information, go to navarrechamber.com or call 939-3267.
