There is a very interesting article today in the Pensacola News Journal, discussing the State Board of Education's decision to lower the passing score of the writing section of the FCAT, because so many Florida students failed this section. I was trying to post a link to the article, but the copy/paste function for Navarrepress.com/forum has been disabled, or is broken, so I am unable to do so.
