Looking to make your way into news management with a news organization dedicated to excellence? Perhaps you are a very experienced editor that needs a change of scenery with new challenges or you are a section editor that craves more responsibility. The Navarre Press is seeking an EDITOR that is talented, creative, energetic and enthusiastic. Put simply, a SUPERSTAR. The editor is responsible for the content, quality and timely production of a weekly newspaper, website and other specialty publications. Please don't confuse "weekly" with "weakly" hence the SUPERSTAR qualities requested.

The Navarre Press editor develops story ideas; manages and makes assignments to reporters and photographers; edits for style and grammar; writes stories as needed; and in the future will comment on the community issues on podcasts and webcasts. The successful candidate will be an experienced reporter and editor who can offer fresh ideas, organization, and leadership to the newsroom. You must be proactive and a self-starter.  The successful candidate will also cultivate community contacts and become involved in our growing community.
