He is employed as a sales manager with a cable TV station in Dallas.

Don and Patricia Short, Navarre, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 7, at The Navarre Club on Navarre Beach.

They were married May 4, 1956, in Milton, in a double wedding with Don's sister Deloris and Curt Willits (deceased).

Their daughter and son-in-law are Roxanne and Jerry Borkhardt and two grandchildren are Jordan and Lauren. Their two stepgranddaughters are Kelley and Corey.

Mr. Zvonik was born May 13, 1926, in Atlanta. He married Rosemary Schebler, Chicago, Jan. 23, 1960, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Chicago, IL..

His children and spouses are Barb Zvonik-Siefker and Bob Rupp, Atlanta; Trish and John Lechmaier, Milton; and Karen and Brad Petersen, Pensacola. He has one granddaughter, Abbey Siefker.

He was employed as logistician at the former US Army Weapons Command on Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1982.

He is a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Navarre.

Birth Announcement:

A daughter, Kevin McClure, weighing 6 lbs. 11 1/2 oz., was born on April 25 in Ft. Walton Beach to Sean and Caitlin McClure of Navarre. Grandparents are Ken and Sandy McClure of Crestview, and Karen and Randy Hirsch of Salt Lake City.
