On March 15, 2024, Conrad went into surgery. As did his dad, Branden Williams.

FWC: Vehicle killed bear on Highway 87 S
A bear was killed Monday, June 29, along Highway 87 S near Bob Tolbert Road.
The incident happened in the afternoon and involved a vehicle collision with the bear.
Navarre Montessori Academy closes its doors
Navarre Montessori Academy, located at 9540 Navarre Parkway, has closed. Its final day of operation was June 26.
Academy owner Kiani Richardson made the announcement Wednesday, June 24, in a letter to parents of children attending the school.
Pier cleanup nets over 200 pounds of debris, trash
Navarre Beach Fishing Pier is the longest in the Gulf of America and one of the busiest piers in Northwest Florida. With much traffic comes much trash.
Fortunately, volunteers from the Navarre Beach Marine Science Station dove in and cleaned up more than 200 pounds of trash from beneath Navarre Beach Fishing Pier on Sunday, June 28.
FWC responds to Deer Lane bear issue
Several bears have reportedly been frequenting the Deer Trail Estates RV/Mobile Home Park neighborhood in Navarre.
Robert Carl, who lives in and manages the mobile home park, said the bears have been getting into the neighborhood’s trash and going through people’s yards.
Shoutout to the ladies at The Boardwalk Shop
These ladies are the kindest. We stopped for batteries and they didn’t have any to sell. But the kind lady went to the back office and gave us 2 batteries that she had. They also gave us shell finding tips and clues to find the Mermaid Mailbox! These ladies are a fine example of the Navarre community and one of the reasons we love traveling from Pittsburgh, PA to this beautiful place!
Shoutout to Autism Pensacola 2025 Connecting The Pieces Gala
Autism Pensacola’s 19th Annual Connecting the Pieces Gala is Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Sanders Beach-Corrine Jones Community Center. The event features a silent auction, music by the Dharma Beats, a walkabout menu-tasting provided by local chefs and restaurants, signature cocktails and a brief program. All proceeds of the Connecting the Pieces Gala support Autism Pensacola’s outreach efforts to serve children and families affected by autism in the local community.

Espresso Lane, our beloved local coffee spot, goes above and beyond to make Navarre a brighter, friendlier place. For those enjoying the walking and running paths, Espresso Lane provides free, refreshing filtered ice water to keep everyone hydrated, and they even have a water station for our furry friends!
They have also set up a Free Little Library for anyone wanting to grab a book on their stroll.
It’s these small, thoughtful acts that make Navarre such a special community.

Risen Savior hosts Bible-centered soccer camp
From June 24-26, Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Navarre hosted a children’s soccer day camp.
Now in its fourth year, the event serves as community outreach for the church by getting children active while teaching lessons from the Gospel. Participants ranged from kindergarten through fifth grade.
