Jesters win Amazing Chase

Members of the Krewe of Jesters’ team Susan Cook, Peggy Danneker, Sue Hufstader and Ceil Holley took the first place prize of $500 at the Amazing Chase, sponsored by Navarre’s Community Emergency Response Team. The fundraiser took place last Saturday throughout Navarre. Armed with 25 clues to local businesses, 20 participants consisting of 8 teams participated in a scavenger hunt that ended up at Helen Back Again. More than 35 prizes were donated from area businesses and each participant went home with a prize. Cook and her team donated the majority of their winnings back to CERT, withholding their sign-up fees. In all, more than $1,500 was raised for emergency supplies for CERT.
