After being swaddled in the womb for nine months, some babies can experience a slight separation anxiety after birth.

That’s why Helen Moore, a Navarre doula and yoga instructor, suggests parents become familiar with the art of baby massage. Early psychological and sensory input is essential in facilitating the development of all infants. Through massaging, both babies and parents learn the importance of human contact and promote the well being of the baby from early on.
